I’m Mudzingwa Takudzwa — a Digital Project Manager and Full-Stack Software Engineer, and Founder of Code Labs Alliance. Over 5+ years I have led 200+ web, software and infrastructure projects from genesis to deployment for Zimbabwe’s banks, government regulators and enterprises across 8 countries — sometimes as project manager, sometimes as lead developer, often as both.
I started in 2019 building WordPress and Webflow sites, and by 2020 I was leading full-cycle delivery at Kaizen IT Group — owning the client relationship from requirements through UAT and post-launch support for 20+ businesses in South Africa and Zimbabwe.
At Tech24 Group I led parallel implementations for the region’s financial institutions: Ameyo and Exotel contact centres for BancABC, NBS, ZimNat and First Mutual Life (300+ agents), and WaveTec queue management across 50+ branches for Ecobank, ZB Bank and POSB — coordinating vendor engineers, branch teams and bank stakeholders at once.
As senior developer and digital project manager I led an Agile team of five and delivered enterprise platforms for ZESA, TIMB, ZERA, ESWUZ and BPO Council. Most recently I was lead developer on IDBZ’s enterprise website, procurement platform and internet banking platform.
Today I run Code Labs Alliance, a multi-country digital services company, and bring the same discipline to every engagement: a clear plan, honest reporting, controlled scope, rigorous UAT — and the engineering depth to build it right.

I own the end-to-end development and maintenance of business applications — ensuring seamless functionality across front-end and back-end, and delivering responsive, secure, high-performance digital solutions that support innovation and operational excellence.
Duties & responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain full-stack business applications meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
- Build responsive, accessible interfaces using modern frameworks — React, Angular, Next or Vue.js.
- Develop robust server-side logic, APIs and microservices with Node.js, Python, Java or .NET.
- Design and manage relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL) and non-relational (Redis, MongoDB) databases.
- Create and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless system and third-party communication.
- Apply secure coding practices and embed security controls throughout the development lifecycle for regulatory compliance.
- Write and maintain unit, integration and end-to-end tests for reliability and performance.
- Participate in agile cycles — sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
